ALL SINGING,
ALL DANCING!
In addition to our weekly classes, our Drama School Burton, Swadlincote and Derby holds both an Easter School in April and a Summer School in August every year. These holiday workshops have run successfully for 16 years; endless numbers of students have taken part and created a show in a week... that's no small task! Here, children between the ages of 4-18 years can come along and learn the songs, dances and drama from famous musicals and then perform in a full performance at the end of the week in front of family and friends.
To date our Easter and Summer Schools have included: An African Experience (2008), High School Musical (2009) The Wizard of Oz (2010) Oliver (2011) Disney’s Aladdin (2012) Disney’s Alice in Wonderland (Easter 2013) Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Summer 2013) Disney's The Jungle Book (Easter 2014) Sweeney Todd (Easter 2014) Fame (Summer 2014) Disney's The Aristocats (Easter 2015) Disney's The Little Mermaid (Summer 2015) Disney's Peter Pan (Easter 2016) Annie (Summer 2016) Madagascar (Easter 2017) The Addams Family (Summer 2017) Hairspray (Easter 2018) Matilda (Summer 2018) Footloose (Easter 2019) Wizard of Oz (Summer 2019) Moana (Summer 2021) Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Summer 2022) Frozen (Easter 2023) and Shrek (Summer 2023)
