Burton On Trent

Our Burton Upon Trent classes are where Theatre Cats first began... we were originally based at The Meadowside Leisure Centre in small classroom style spaces. After the initial two years we relocated to Shobnall Leisure Complex which saw our groups expand and our popularity in the local area grow! We then moved ourselves again to The De Ferrers Academy and now we are based at Burton Musical Theatre Company's HQ in Stapenhill.

Very shortly after opening in Burton, it became clear that the demand for our exciting theatre classes had spread further afield. Since 2009 we have had classes on a Tuesday evening at The William Allitt School in Newhall. This location has been an invaluable head quarters for our Drama School as a whole; we perform both our Easter and Summer School Holiday Clubs here, making use of the fully equipped drama and dance studios!

Due to the school needing to focus on their students after the school closures associated with Covid-19 we have now moved to The Pingle Academy.

Last but certainly not least are our classes in Mickleover, Derby. We have been based at the Royal British Legion Centre since 2009. These groups have flourished in a friendly village location, with our drama space being light and welcoming for all ages!

Through Acting, Singing, Dancing and Annual Performances, your child's development is our primary focus. We are very proud to say that since first establishing ourselves in 2008 our Drama School has gone from strength to strength; we have taught hundreds of students in that time and truly believe that each student has received an exciting and equal education in the arts.
